All new students entering District 31 must prove residency. Homeowners should bring the most recent estimated real estate tax bill and two of the following items: current homeowner’s insurance policy, current village/county/state vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance policy, utility bill or public aid statement. Renters should bring a valid lease for the current address that includes the name of the child, proof of rent payments for the last two months and two of the following items: a current village/county/state vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance policy, current renter's insurance policy, current public aid statement or current utility bill.
Parents must also provide their child's social security number, as well as the child's state or municipal birth certificate. Hospital or baptismal certificates cannot be accepted. Students will not be officially admitted until the proper certificate is presented to the District.
