Math-A-Thon 7th Grade Service Learning Project

For the second year, approximately 40 seventh graders have volunteered to participate in the Math-a-Thon benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.  The students ask friends and relatives to sponsor them in completing a math "Fun Book" and then collect their pledge money. St. Jude Hospital uses the money to provide services for their young patients and their families. No one is turned away from St Jude's for their inability to pay. If you're interested in learning more about the hospital or the Math-a-Thon, check out the organization’s website at mathathon.org.
