Spring Has Sprung!

We hope you all had a relaxing and refreshing Spring Break. As we settle back into the routine, it’s hard to believe we’re already in the home stretch—with just two months left of school! We’re excited for a fun-filled finish with our final events and fundraisers, while also looking ahead to next year with upcoming PTO board elections.

Don’t forget to place your Art to Remember order by Monday, April 13th. We’re halfway to our fundraising goal

—thank you! Let’s keep the momentum going!

Our second annual Pi Day STEM event was a fantastic success! Students had a blast exploring hands-on activities like ice cream making and robotics, thanks to the incredible collaboration between teachers and parents. A heartfelt thank you to Kelli Lane for helping guide the planning committee. We truly couldn’t have done it without you. Way to go to all 23 contestants who participated in the Pi recitation contest!

We also want to thank everyone who joined us at Bernie’s Book Bank. Together, we labeled and sorted books to help bring literacy and opportunity to children in need— what a meaningful way to give back!

If you missed our March fundraiser at Grill House, we’d love your support at our next one! Be sure to check out Cabo, their sister restaurant, on April 21.

Looking ahead, our final event of the year, Around the World, is just a few weeks away! We’d love for families to share their heritage by hosting a country table, and we’re also planning a fun fashion show to highlight traditional and cultural attire. It’s always a wonderful celebration of our diverse community!

In May, we’ll be holding our PTO Board Elections. Open positions include Co-President, Secretary, VP of Communications, VP of Fundraising, and  VP  of  Events. All VP roles can be shared by two people, making it a great opportunity to partner up!

To help you learn more, we’ll be hosting two casual Meet & Greet sessions in the coming weeks—one during the day at a local coffee shop and one in the evening at a local bar or restaurant. If you’re even a little curious about getting involved, we’d love for you to stop by—coffee or a cocktail is on us!

We truly hope you’ll consider joining the PTO. While this year brought many fun and well-attended events, we did face some challenges. Unfortunately, we had to cancel a
few favorites like Bingo Night, Spring Fling, Science Fair, and Kindness Day, and we missed out on opportunities like a Spirit Wear fundraiser, Spring Book Fair, and Field Day treats. With your help, we can bring these beloved traditions back and continue building a strong, connected school community. Many Hands Make Light Work!

Warmly,

Sarah Goldman & the PTO Team
