As we close out the year, I want to extend my sincere gratitude for your support. Because of you, CATCH strengthened its impact, expanding our reach, deepening our educational programs, and offering more resources to families seeking connection, understanding, and hope.
Looking to the year ahead, we’re committed to meeting rising mental health needs by growing our community outreach, strengthening partnerships, and developing new initiatives that help families access support when they need it most.
Thank you for standing with us. Together, we’re building a more resilient, compassionate community.
Wishing you peace and well-being in the coming year.
With gratitude,
Utica J. Gray, PhD, MSHSA, BA

OUR 2025 IMPACT
STAND WITH FAMILIES. SUPPORT CATCH
Families in our community are facing growing mental health challenges, and too many parents feel isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn.
CATCH steps in with support that meets families exactly where they are.
We provide judgment-free Parents Connect groups, Comfort Kits for youth in crisis, Coping Kits for students managing stress and big emotions, community education that empowers adults to support the kids in their lives, and professional referrals. Our digital mental health resources reach thousands, offering immediate tools and connection.
Thank you to everyone who donated to CATCH on Giving Tuesday. $0.90 of every $1.00 donated enables CATCH to support local families, helping them prioritize mental wellness, where every child feels seen, supported, and safe.

Resources from "When Once-A-Week Therapy Isn't Enough"
Attendees of our November Lunch & Learn with Josh Novick, LCPC, walked away with tools to better understand higher levels of mental health care and how to know when it may be time to seek more support for a child or teen.
CATCH's Lunch and Learn education series is supported in part by a grant from the Northbrook Woman’s Club, helping us bring mental wellness education directly to our community.
REAL STORIES. REAL STRUGGLES. REAL STRENGTH.
Sometimes depression doesn’t look like depression at all.
In this deeply personal reflection, one parent shares what it’s like to dip in and out of depression, even with a well-stocked mental health toolbox, and how it gave her a new, humbler understanding of what her kids were carrying as teens. A lesson in empathy, perseverance, and the quiet bravery of keeping going.
