Lunch and Learn Webinar
Overparenting Unplugged: How to Let Kids Thrive with, Dr. Andrea Goddard, PsyD

Are you ready to rethink what it means to support your kids? Join us for a Lunch & Learn inspired by Emily Oster’s new podcast, Raising Parents, where we’ll tackle the challenges of overparenting in today’s world. In this interactive session, we’ll dive into why the culture of helicopter parenting isn’t working and how we can shift toward a healthier, more empowering approach. Expect a short presentation, followed by plenty of time for audience questions, real-life scenarios, and actionable steps you can take to let your kids—and yourself—thrive.

Lunch and Learn Webinar with Dr. Ashley Leja

Join Dr. Leja, a Clinical Psychologist with Chicago Neurodevelopmental Center as she discusses how we can support our kids when they face social setbacks, like being excluded from a lunch table or group chat.

In-Person Event with Dr. Doug Bolton

Location TBD

Join us for this in-person and final educational program of the year as we host author and clinical psychologist, Dr. Doug Bolton who will examine and debunk several parenting myths.

The CATCH Lunch and Learn series is supported by a generous grant from the Northbrook Woman's Club.

Let’s Dink for a Cause
Join us for our Inaugural Pickleball Tournament for CATCH!

Friday, February 28, 2025, 5-9pm
Pickelball4ALL, 2105 Johns Court, Glenview
Age 16+, prior play experience event

Come play, nibble, get some custom printed swag, and enjoy an evening benefitting CATCH. MANDO Consulting, a longtime friend of CATCH is hosting the evening so that 100% of the registration fees are donated to CATCH.

Registration is now open! Player slots are limited.

Cost: $75/player $25/spectator

Sign up and a CATCH volunteer will reach out to schedule a time to talk, meet for a cup of coffee, or go for a walk to give you a chance to share what's going on and learn how CATCH can support you. 

Looking for professional support?

CATCH is here to help you find a mental health provider.

Look through our lists of providers or send a confidential email to CATCH, and we will provide you with names of trusted practices that might meet your needs. 

VOLUNTEER WITH US

We need you to help us continue to fulfill our mission. Do you have a couple of hours a month to help? Here is a short list of some of the projects we need your help with:

  • School and community event tabling
  • CATCH sponsored event support
  • Coping and trauma kit ordering and packing for students
  • Social media posting
