Family Night at Sunset Foods

Family Night at Sunset Foods
Sunday, March 12 from 4 – 7 p.m.
Sunset Foods Grill Area (1127 Church St. Northbrook)

Did you know that there are over 400 students in the Northbrook public schools who are on the free or reduced lunch program? We are currently serving 160 students in the middle and elementary school districts.

Help the Hunger Resource Network provide nutritious food for these students and families in need on Sunday, March 12 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Sunset Foods in Northbrook. The Hunger Resource Network will provide a simple list of non-perishable items for families to purchase throughout the store and we will double-bag the groceries for distribution to those in need. Each bag costs approximately $35 and it will take less than half an hour to buy the items. The goal is to assemble at least 200 bags.

Alternatively, if you don’t have time to shop that evening, you can donate $35 at the register and we will assemble the bags in the future. We will also be accepting donations in any amount. Every dollar and food item matters to these families and your support and generosity are much appreciated.

If you cannot join us, you can still help by going to hungerresourenetwork.org and donate. Thank you!
