Message from Quest Food Management Services Regarding Temporary Changes to Dining Program
Message from Quest Food Management Services
Dear Families and Guests,
Quest Food Management Services is closely monitoring information related to the recent Cyclospora outbreak and associated product recalls.
At this time, there are no known links between Quest’s supply chain and the products
associated with the outbreak or related recalls. However, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the proactive decision to temporarily remove iceberg lettuce and fresh jalapeños from all Quest dining programs.
These items will not be served until further notice as we continue to monitor the situation and work closely with our distributors.
Please know that we have no reason to believe products previously served through our
dining programs were impacted. This additional precaution is being taken proactively based on the information currently available and our commitment to providing safe, high-quality food to the communities we serve.
Quest works closely with our distributors and suppliers to monitor food safety and product recalls. If we are ever notified that a product within our supply chain is affected by a recall or food safety concern, that product is immediately removed from service and impacted communities are notified as appropriate.
The health and safety of our students, guests, and communities remains our highest
priority. We appreciate your understanding as we take this additional precaution.
Sincerely,
Nick Saccaro
CEO
