Message from the D31 Education Foundation

Dear District 31 Community,

On behalf of the District 31 Education Foundation, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us for the D31 Ed  Foundation Winter Gala. Your presence and generosity made the evening a meaningful celebration of our shared commitment to
students and schools. Together, we raised approximately $25,800, an increase from approximately $23,000 in 2025.

Classroom Display Enhancements
We are thrilled to share that this year’s funds will be used to support classroom display enhancements at both Field and Winkelman Schools. This includes piloting large display screens to enhance visibility, increase student engagement, and provide more flexible,
interactive learning experiences for students and teachers.

The Caring Corner
Funds will also help sustain the District 31 Caring Corner, a supplemental food pantry located in the District Office that supports families in need. In partnership with Hunger Free Northbrook, this resource provides accessible, no-barrier support, allowing families to take essential items to help supplement meals in a safe and welcoming environment.

We are also excited to begin planning ahead for next year’s gala and are hoping to host a Casino Night in Winter 2027. More details, including the date, will be shared as they are finalized. In addition, we will continue to raise funds to ensure that every D31
classroom has classroom display enhancements!

We are deeply grateful to the families, staff, sponsors, and volunteers who made this event so special. Your support continues to have a meaningful impact on our students and schools.
