PTO General Meeting and Elections

December 1, 2025, at 7 p.m. in the Winkelman Commons

Hello D31 Families,

It has been a great learning opportunity serving you as your District 31 PTO President. I am announcing my resignation effective as
of January 1st 2026. I am proud of the work we accomplished with a very small board of 3 people during my time as President, and I
thank you for your trust in me to lead our PTO.

We will hold an election for the presidential seat at our December 1st meeting. We will also have the secretary position open if you are interested in either position, please email us at D31PTO@gmail.com.

In order for the PTO to continue, it must have a President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Currently, we do have Sarah Goldman as a
candidate for the presidency, and should she be elected, we will still need a Secretary to avoid dissolution.

President

• Oversees all aspects of the PTO, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with goals.
• Creates the yearly budget and ensures all committees adhere to fiscal guidelines.
• Offers guidance on events and coordinates with district administration.
• Currently oversees the Art Enrichment Program, school supply kit sales, and the Hospitality Committee.
• Currently, oversees the roles of VP of Communications, VP of Events, and VP of Fundraising duties

Secretary

• Takes meeting minutes at all executive board and general PTO meetings.
• Sends out thank you notes on behalf of the PTO.
