March
Can you believe it’s already March! The PTO has had anything but a grey winter, keeping things colorful and fun with the January Bingo
Night and the recent D31 fundraising gala!

As we await spring's arrival, we look forward to many great things at D31. Your dedication and involvement are the lifeblood of our school district’s success. Our quarterly general meeting will take place this month, and we look forward to our preschool, 5th, and 8th-grade graduation committees joining us to help plan the end-of-the-year celebrations.

Moreover, during our May General PTO Meeting, we will hold PTO elections for the next school year. Several positions are open, so
reach out to us if you are interested.

By contributing your time and talents, you enrich the school experience and model the importance of community engagement for our children. Let’s seize this moment to collaborate and strengthen the bonds that make our district a thriving place for growth, learning, and celebration!

Mardi Gras Parent Gala
We're thrilled to share that the D31 Mardi Gras Gala & Fundraiser was a wonderful success. It was filled with fantastic food, drinks, and music that brought our community together.

This special evening wouldn't have been possible without the generous support of our
sponsors:

  • Xamplas Attorneys & Counselors at Law
  • Stifel Investment Services
  • Compass Health Center
  • Glenbrook Remodeling
  • Pinstripes
  • Invesco, LLC

Special thanks to YT Events for their beautiful decorations, and to our local restaurants for their delicious food donations. The donated
silent auction items from local businesses added an exciting element to the evening. We're especially grateful to the following
individuals who volunteered their time to make this event an success by helping to set up, welcomed guests and stayed late to clean
up: Karishma Patel, Jeff Steinberg, Ami Patel, Ami Bahara, Sarah Goldman, and Lucy Moukhtari!

A big thank you to all the GBN volunteers who helped make the D31 Gala a success! Their time and effort were truly appreciated, and we couldn't have done it without them!

D31 General PTO Meeting
March, 11 at 7 p.m. in the Winkelman Commons
We’d love for you to join us at our upcoming PTO General Meeting! It’s a great opportunity to stay informed, share your thoughts, and get involved in shaping the future of our school community. Whether you're a returning member or new to the group, everyone is welcome!

We are looking for committee members to help organize each of these parties. On Tuesday, March 11, after the general PTO meeting in the Winkelman’s Commons, we will hold a mandatory meeting for the fifth and eighth-grade parents. We will review the event
guidelines, and the D31 administration will be present to answer any questions.

If you cannot attend the meeting, you must email us at D31pto@gmail.com before March 11th to be added to the committee.
