November 23, 2021

Dear District 31 Community,

It is hard to believe we are already at Thanksgiving Break! Last year at this time was much different and we are so happy to be closer to a “normal” school year. Although the progress has been slow, we continue to be so THANKFUL for your partnership and patience in the process. As we break for a time to celebrate with family and friends, I especially want to give “thanks” to our teachers, staff, students, and parents.

Let us all enjoy the break and come back ready to end the 2021 year with appreciation for all we have accomplished!

Calendar Survey Ends Today
Your feedback is needed as we develop our 2022-2023 school calendar.  Thank you for taking the time to complete this brief survey. We welcome all feedback and suggestions. Please complete the survey by Tuesday, November 23.

COVID-19 Vaccine Opportunities
As our 5 - 11 students begin getting their second shot this week, we would like to remind you to please send a picture/ copy of the vaccine card to the school nurse. Students are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their SECOND shot.  We ask that families send a picture/copy of the vaccine card after the second shot to the school nurse. Once students are two weeks past their second shot, they will no longer participate in the weekly Shield Illinois COVID-19 testing.

Several local pharmacies are also offering appointments. Please use the links below to schedule a convenient time to get vaccinated.
