Covid update, photographer, mental health awareness month and more

Dear District 31 Community,

The wonderful weather this week has certainly reinforced that summer is coming!  However, with the warmer weather has come an increase of Covid numbers.  You can review our dashboard here.  We continue to follow the IDPH guidance and appreciate our parents who help us by reviewing mitigation strategies with their students and keeping their children home when they are sick. We know some families are choosing to have their child continue to wear a mask at school. We appreciate all you do to help keep our students safe. In addition to Covid, we are seeing flus, colds, and other viruses.

District 31 is excited to be launching a new website this summer. As part of our preparations, there will be a photographer in the buildings and classrooms  on Thursday taking pictures of our students and staff for our new website. Your student may share that they were asked to “say cheese!”

With fifteen days left in the 2021-2022 school year, there is no doubt that they will be jam packed. Have a wonderful weekend!
