PTO news, Bus Expectation Reminders, Data Review Meeting, Fall Benchmark Assessment Parent Reports, and Important Dates
Dear Winkelman Parents,
Happy Friday! We’ve had a great week with students this week. Thank you to all of our parents who attended our first PTO meeting this week. It was great to see so many families who are eager to give back to our school community by volunteering for school events, as a room parent or to teach Art Enrichment. We look forward to working in partnership with you and we are excited for what’s to come for our students.
Today, students participated in a practice bus evacuation drill. Bus expectations were also reviewed with our students. Please remind your child if they are a bus rider that masks are to be worn at all times and to ensure the safety of our bus riders that students should always sit with their assigned seat buddy.
Next week our school leadership team will participate in a fall data review meeting and grade level teams will participate in grade level data review meetings. We will analyze both building-wide data and grade level data to determine areas of strength and areas of focus for each of our teams. Fall benchmark assessment parent reports will also be mailed home in the coming weeks ahead. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you have any questions after receiving your child’s fall benchmark scores.
We hope that you have a wonderful weekend,
